  • This unit specifies the competencies required to process cargo through different types of ports. 
  • It involves:
    • Classifying ports
    • Determining appropriate port infrastructure and superstructures to handle different types of cargo
    • Clearing cargo through different types of ports
    • Determining relevant port charges and identifying roles of different parties in the port clearance process.
