This unit specifies the competencies required to carry out Freight Forwarding. It involves:
- Performing duties of a Freight forwarder
- Performing under different work environments,
- Complying to Standard trading terms and conditions
- Using relevant documents in clearing and forwarding process
- Handling goods using relevant modes of transport
- Advising client on appropriate containers and relevant charges and selecting appropriate incoterms.
