Introduction

  • The movement of materials all the way from supplier to end customer is the responsibility of Supply chain. 
  • There is always risk of any unexpected events which effect and cause the disruption of flow of materials in their journey.
  • Supply chain disruptions may result from a variety of unintentional causes such as accidents or natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and earth quakes
  • There can also be intentional supply chain disruptions such a theft, contamination/sabotage, or a terrorist attacks.
